14 Day Returns & Cancellation Policy

If you change your mind about your purchase you may cancel the order and return the goods to us provided you comply with the conditions stated below and you do this within 14 days of receiving the goods. You do not have to give a reason for returning the goods but you must notify us in writing, during this 14 day period, of your intention to do this. You can notify us by post or by email. This does not apply to custom made items. Once the details of a custom order have been agreed there is no right to cancellation and returns will only be accepted if the item is faulty. We scrutinise and photograph all items before despatching them.

 

Please include your contact details in any communications, including email address and telephone number together with details of your order and what items you intend to return. We will contact you to acknowledge receipt of your notification.

 

If you return goods, you are responsible for the full cost of returning them to Nellie's Niceties. It is your responsibility to ensure that they are returned with adequate packaging and postage. Nellie's Niceties accepts no liability for returned goods that do not reach us because they have inadequate postage or because they are 'lost in the post'. We therefore recommend you obtain 'proof of posting' and ensure the postage method you use includes adequate compensation for non-delivery.

 

Goods must be returned to us unused and in a good, re-saleable condition. In the case of quilts, cushions, bags or other fabric items this means it must not have been cut, sewn, washed or ironed and must not be soiled or contaminated in any way. We will only refund the value of the goods we receive back in a re-saleable condition plus the associated shipping charge we made to dispatch those goods to you. Once the goods have been received and inspected we will make a refund credit, as quickly as possible, to the same payment card account you used to pay for the purchase. We aim to process the credit within 14 days but have no control over the time it will take the card processing company to transfer the money back to your payment card account.

 

We do not accept returns of patterns.

 

If any item we dispatch is defective or if we inadvertently send you the wrong item you may return these specific items to us unused and in good condition and we will send you a replacement and refund reasonable return postage/shipping costs provided you notify us in writing within 14 days of receipt of the goods. If we are unable to replace the goods we will refund the purchase price plus reasonable return postage/shipping costs.
